Hartford, NY: On November 22, the Hartford Volunteer Fire Company supplied backup support for the 13th annual Greenwich Lighted Tractor Parade. Engine 2 and Squad 4 were stationed at Hiram Street and Van Ness Avenue with an eight-person crew to support "Zone 2" operations, alongside the Victory Mills and Middle Falls fire departments.
The event is one of Washington County's major yearly gatherings, drawing thousands of people to Greenwich to celebrate decorated tractors, town pride, and the start of the holiday season. While Greenwich Fire controlled parade operations, standby units ensured that emergency coverage was available across the event area.
