As the country commemorated Veterans Day, the Shelton Fire Department Color Guard and department members attended the City's annual ceremony honoring military veterans. Vic Godin, a long-time SFD member from Pine Rock Park Company 4, was among those present. Godin, a United States Marine Corps veteran, has been a firefighter in the neighborhood for almost 60 years and is still regarded as a valued member of the department.
