Final Inspection Completed for Two New SFD Engines

Shelton, CT — November 22 — Members of the Shelton Fire Department's apparatus committee visited the Seagrave manufacturing plant in Wisconsin this week to perform the final inspection of two new fire engines. The all-red engine will become Engine 52 for White Hills Fire Company #5, while the white-bonneted vehicle will become Engine 32 for Huntington Fire Company #3. The project has been under development for nearly three years, from design and specifications to construction and delivery preparation.
