Norwalk, CT - The Norwalk Fire Department responded to a garage fire at 43 Plattsville Avenue at 5:20 P.M. Friday evening, November 20th. The fire burned inside the rear wall of the single-car garage and into its attic space before it could be extinguished. The flue pipe attached to a wood stove in the garage basement, below the garage, is believed to have contributed to the fire.
