September Run and Training Report

October 22, 2025 — The Lincoln Fire Company, Station 16, has released its monthly activity report for September, highlighting another demanding and productive month for volunteers.
Crews responded to 47 total incidents, continuing a steady call volume throughout the year. Leading responders for the month included Chief Richard Gehman with 31 calls, Firefighter Addie Northup with 27, Safety Officer Randy Gockley with 26, Deputy Chief James Gehman with 25, and both Captain Laura Martin and Firefighter Glenn Zimmerman with 23. Rescue 16 and Squad 16 accounted for the majority of apparatus activity.
In addition to emergency responses, members dedicated significant time to skill development, recording 297 training hours. Firefighter Kendall Copenhaver led with 46.5 hours, followed by Firefighter Lamar Buckwalter with 44, Firefighter Christian Rebeiro with 18, Firefighter Eric Carpenter with 15, and Firefighter Jonathan Weaver with 13.
Beyond operations and training, Station 16 continued its commitment to community education. Volunteers completed four fire prevention events, connecting with 494 adults and children.
Year-to-date totals reflect continued dedication, with 331 calls and 3,952 training hours logged through September 30.
