On November 10, 2025, the Martindale Volunteer Fire Department Station 3 reported that crews, along with the Ephrata Police Department, were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident in the 1000 block of Frysville Road, according to the department. Upon arrival, Duty Officer 03 located a Ford pickup that had driven into and become elevated on a guy wire attached to a telephone pole. Rescue 30 from Weaverland Valley Fire Department was requested to assist with vehicle stabilization. No injuries were reported, and the scene was safely mitigated. The department extended appreciation to Hagy Towing of Ephrata for the skilled and efficient removal of the truck.
