On October 23, 2025, the Martindale Volunteer Fire Department Station 3 concluded a week of Fire Prevention activities throughout the Martindale Fire Community. The department hosted parochial one-room school students at the fire station on Friday, where volunteers—joined by Fivepointville Ambulance Service—provided interactive demonstrations focused on fire safety, emergency response, and hands-on learning. The educational outreach continued today at Hinkletown Mennonite School, with New Holland Ambulance supporting lessons on general safety and fire prevention. One of the most popular teaching tools throughout the week was the smoke trailer, offering students a realistic and engaging experience in fire safety awareness. Martindale Fire Department extended its appreciation to all partnering agencies and personnel who assisted with demonstrations, facility tours, and student engagement, noting that the children enthusiastically enjoyed learning, asking questions, and exploring emergency vehicles—especially the fire trucks.
