Long Pond, PA — 25th October — Tunkhannock Township Volunteer Fire Company Station 42 helped Coolbaugh Township Volunteer Fire Company replenish the water supply pond at Coolbaugh's station. In order to restore the pond to full capacity in case hydrants are unavailable in the future, Tanker 42 joined a number of local departments in a tanker shuttle operation. In addition to practicing water movement and staging techniques, the endeavor allowed staff to remain prepared. After the pond was secured, every unit finished the mission without any problems and resumed operations.
