As part of a seasonal community detail, Santa was escorted through the township by Boyertown Area Fire & Rescue and Amity Fire & Rescue over the holiday season. While firemen controlled traffic and gave safety support, fire apparatus passed through many neighborhoods, allowing people to view Santa. One of the stops included a visit to the township building, where families gathered to take part in the holiday event.
