Long Pond, PA — 25th October — First responders and families came together for the Trunk or Treat event held behind the township building. Station 42 of Tunkhannock Township Volunteer Fire Company took part by decorating trunks and offering kids a secure area to engage in Halloween activities. In addition to being on call for emergencies, firefighters used the occasion to address enquiries regarding fire safety and equipment. Residents spent time interacting with volunteers and snapping pictures close to the device, and attendance stayed consistent throughout the evening. The event keeps promoting community outreach and strengthening the good relationships that exist between local families and emergency services.
