Survivor-Led Fire Safety Presentation Delivered to Bloomfield Students

Bloomfield, N.J. — October 22 —The Bloomfield Fire Department welcomed Alvaro and Shawn back to Bloomfield High School for an additional After The Fire presentation. The program, led by two survivors of a college dormitory fire, teaches real-world lessons about fire behavior, prevention, and decision making. Students learned firsthand how rapidly a fire can spread and how devastating the aftermath can be. The presenters emphasized the need for awareness, making safe decisions, and comprehending fire dangers both on and off-campus.
