Morganville, NJ — December 8 — A burning warehouse fire in Marlboro Township prompted the Morganville Fire Department to react on a mutual assistance assignment. As part of a District 3 reaction, the department was asked to support the Marlboro Fire Department. A different crew was dispatched to the roof for ventilation, and upon arrival, Morganville command officers and ladder workers used handlines and made interior access to help with fire suppression. Extinguishment, overhaul, and ongoing ventilation activities were supplemented by other units, such as a tanker pumper. Around the incident, fire police units were in charge of scene safety and traffic control. Before being released, Morganville units worked on the site for around two hours. During the response, no firefighter injuries were reported.
