Morganville, NJ — December 9 — In accordance with a shared dispatch agreement with Robertsville Fire District 2, the Morganville Fire Department responded to a reported residential structure fire in Marlboro Township on Tuesday night. Chiefs said that there was an active fire at the back of a one-story house when they arrived and took command. The event was elevated to a box alarm, involving many Marlboro fire districts and mutual aid organizations, due to visual fire and exposure concerns. In order to swiftly put out the main body of fire, crews extended handlines and carried out coordinated outside and interior operations. Morganville units started overhauling, finished primary searches, and looked for extensions. Other businesses offered assistance and manpower rotation. Effective mutual assistance cooperation and training were demonstrated as the fire was put out without any reported injuries to firefighters or civilians.
