CHVFC Responds to 43 Emergencies in October

Country Hills, N.J. — November 7 — The Country Hills Volunteer Fire Company responded to 43 emergency calls in October. Leadership commended everyone for their devotion and ongoing contribution to the community.

The calls comprised 18 fire alarms, one carbon monoxide alarm, four odor-of-gas or gas leak investigations, four smoke-condition replies, nine fire incidents, one motor vehicle accident, one elevator emergency, one landing-zone assignment, two police assists, and two good-intent calls.

CHVFC also identified its top responders for the month. Firefighter Steven Cornella Sr. topped the list with 39 calls, followed by Probationary Firefighter Shaun McMorrow with 37. Chief Patrick Doherty answered 35 calls, Firefighter Steven Hernandez answered 33, while Firefighter Monica Young and Lieutenant Steve Lanieri both answered 32. Deputy Chief Ryan Sullivan recorded 31, Lieutenant Conner Price handled 30, Firefighter Dave Hogrebe responded to 26, and Captain Michael Kenny finished 18.
