Marlboro, New Jersey — December 8 — The East Freehold Fire Company, which has its headquarters at 191 Dutch Lane Road, helped put out a warehouse fire at 240 Boundary Road in Marlboro Township.

When Marlboro Fire Department firefighters first got on the scene, the building was heavily smoke-filled and on fire. They used handlines to find the fire's seat. Crews from East Freehold set up a tower ladder and carried out roof operations as the fire spread to the roof. While other companies helped with overhaul and suppression, Robertsville Fire Company set up a water supply. Marlboro Police secured the area, Marlboro EMS stood by for firefighter safety, and local agencies covered the station. The Monmouth County and Marlboro Township Fire Marshals are conducting an investigation.
