Glen Gardner, N.J. — October 17 —On Friday night, 15 firemen from Glen Gardner Fire Company No. 1 participated in the department's monthly practice, which focused on vehicle extrication tactics utilizing an SUV. Crews stabilized the vehicle, removed doors and side panels, and performed a full roof flap, giving members hands-on experience with routine extrication procedures used in major car accidents.

The department also encouraged community members interested in volunteering to stop by the station on Monday or Thursday evenings or reach out for more information.
