Parkesburg, Pa. — November 9 —The Keystone Valley Fire Department is inviting both volunteer and career applicants to join its ranks as the demand for dedicated responders increases. The agency stated that today's fire service necessitates dedication, physical preparedness, and a willingness to help the community in an emergency.
Interested individuals can learn more or begin the application process by visiting KVFD8.com. KVFD emphasized the physical demands of the work, reminding new members that firemen typically wear more than 75 pounds of gear on each call.
