November 14, 2025 — The Kenilworth Fire Department concluded its November Department Meeting with its annual Friendsgiving celebration, a tradition that brings firefighters and their families together for an evening of food, fellowship, and gratitude.

Families were invited to fire headquarters, where members gathered to share a Friendsgiving feast and celebrate the support system that makes their service possible. The department expressed deep appreciation for the family members who stand behind its volunteers and career personnel throughout the year, noting that “thankful does not even begin to describe” their gratitude.

The event was organized by the department’s entertainment committee, led by EMT Annette Lotfy, whose efforts were recognized for consistently delivering a memorable celebration year after year.

The Kenilworth Fire Department emphasized its appreciation not only for the strong sense of community within its ranks, but also for the continued opportunity to serve the residents of Kenilworth.
