Bayonne, New Jersey — December 22 — The Bayonne incident Department was responding to a multi-alarm incident at 537 Avenue A. According to a report from the Bayonne Office of Emergency Management. As activities proceeded, several fire departments were tasked with scene management, exposure protection, and fire suppression. In order to support fireground activities, the Bayonne Police Department controlled traffic and protected the area. Roadway access and logistical requirements were met by the Bayonne Department of Public Works. To enable emergency personnel to work safely, locals and drivers were urged to stay away from the area. As authorities attempted to contain the situation, no injuries were reported right away.
