Bayonne, New Jersey — December 22 — To help Jacqueline Weimmer deliver toys to nearby families, the Bayonne Office of Emergency Management organized a multi-agency convoy. The Bayonne Police Department, Bayonne Fire Department, OEM employees, and McCabe Ambulance were among the participating agencies. The Bayonne Fire Canteen, Bayonne UEZ personnel, and the Bayonne Department of Public Works also contributed more assistance. During the holiday season, the guarded convoy made sure that toys were delivered promptly and safely. Mayor Jimmy Davis and other city leaders praised the departmental cooperation. The occasion demonstrated how Bayonne's emergency services continue to assist community initiatives in addition to their duties related to public safety.
