Bayonne, New Jersey — December 25 — The Bayonne Office of Emergency Management issued a travel advice on December 25 in anticipation of a blizzard that was predicted to affect the city. In order to enable Bayonne Department of Public Works workers to safely perform ploughing and salting operations, drivers were asked to refrain from making needless trips. No-parking signs were put up along Avenue C between 25th and 29th streets as part of preparations for a snow emergency, and they were enforced to avoid interfering with the removal of snow. The street sweeping that was supposed to take place on Saturday, December 27, was postponed. While McCabe Ambulance and the Bayonne Fire Canteen continued to provide assistance, the Bayonne Police Department promoted traffic safety and enforcement. In order to keep roads safe during storm operations, city officials stressed the importance of public collaboration.
