October 28, 2025 — In recognition of National First Responders Day, Station 83 paused to honor the unwavering dedication of firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, 911 dispatchers, and public safety personnel across the nation.

The department extended heartfelt gratitude to all who answer the call around the clock, noting their courage, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting communities.

A special message was shared for the members of the 83 Fire family, praising their continuous training, bravery during emergencies, and compassion shown on every response.

“You are the backbone of our community’s safety. We appreciate you today and every day,” the department said.

Residents were encouraged to join in expressing thanks to all First Responders for their vital service.
