Mount Holly and Westampton Respond to Folwell School Incident

Mount Holly, N.J. — October 30 — Mount Holly Fire District No. 1 and Westampton Township Emergency Services responded to Folwell School after a light pole broke and struck the rear portion of the building. The call came in during the afternoon, bringing Squad 27 to the scene to assess structural concerns and check for any hazards around the impact area.
Crews confirmed that the pole caused exterior damage but did not affect interior operations. School officials notified parents shortly after the incident, and responders verified that no injuries occurred among students, staff, or bystanders.
Personnel remained on scene while the damaged pole was secured and the surrounding area was made safe.
