Fort Edward Crews Handle Evening Fire Call at The Oaks.

Fort Edward, N.Y. — October 21 —Early evening, Fort Edward Fire Department, 114 Broadway, was dispatched to 325 Broadway (Fort Hudson – The Oaks) for a reported oven fire. Engine-Rescue 273 and Car 2702 responded, followed by Tower 274 and Car 27. Crews located a small kitchen fire confined to the oven and quickly extinguished it. No extension or injuries were reported, and units cleared after about 30 minutes.
