On February 19, units from the East Greenbush Fire Company, Inc. responded to a multi-alarm structure fire in the West Sand Lake Fire District.
Several East Greenbush Fire District #3 units responded to the event. Truck 11, Engine 7, Engine 8, Engine 9, Bus 11, FR-11, Car 2, and Car 3 were among the units to respond.
Firefighters collaborated with other area departments to bolster suppression efforts and handle the ongoing event. Multi-alarm responses like this bring together a variety of agencies to ensure adequate staffing, equipment, and water supply for major or complex fires.
