Argyle, N.Y. — October 14 — J.A. Barkley Hose Co. No. 1 (Argyle Fire/Rescue), 5072 State Route 40, hosted a First Responder Electrical Hazard Training led by Chris Trombley of Northline Utilities LLC. The session brought together 82 attendees from fire and public safety agencies across Washington County and nearby Vermont.
The training focused on recognising and managing electrical hazards at scenes involving downed wires and energised equipment. Participating departments included Fort Edward, Salem, North Granville, Middle Granville, Quaker Springs, Kingsbury, Hebron, Rupert (VT), Cossayuna, Gansevoort, and the Washington County Department of Public Safety.
