Niagara Falls, N.Y. — November 2 — Niagara Falls Firefighters–Local 714 responded around 8:10 a.m. to a single-vehicle crash at Pine Avenue and Hyde Park Boulevard. While en route, crews were advised the vehicle had caught fire.
Firefighters arrived to find the engine compartment burning and quickly extinguished the flames. The driver was uninjured. According to reports, the vehicle left the roadway after “locking up,” struck a curb and metal garbage can, and likely ruptured the oil pan, which ignited the fire.
