Malverne, N.Y. — October 27 — The Malverne Fire Department responded at 3:50 p.m. to a fire on Wolf Avenue involving two garages fully involved with exposure concerns to nearby homes. Chief Buonomo transmitted a Signal 10, bringing additional resources to the scene.

Malverne crews, along with mutual aid from Lakeview, Lynbrook, Valley Stream, Elmont, Rockville Centre, and Franklin Square, worked to contain the fire and prevent extension to the adjacent houses. The fire was brought under control, and overhaul operations were completed. No injuries were reported.
