Car Split in Two After Crash with Tractor Trailer in Brockport

Brockport, NY — February 28th — At 4:04 a.m., the Brockport Fire District responded to a motor vehicle collision on Lake Road South involving an automobile that had off the road and collided with an 18-wheeler trailer.


When firefighters arrived, they discovered the truck was seriously damaged and had split in two. Before the crew arrived, the driver had already exited the vehicle. Brockport firefighter-EMTs began providing medical care until the patient was delivered to the Monroe Ambulance.


Firefighters remained on the scene to provide lighting as the Monroe County Sheriff's Office conducted an investigation. Units cleared the scene and resumed service around 6:12 a.m. Officials stated no other information was immediately available.
