Long Beach, N.Y. — October 25 — The City of Long Beach New York Fire Department responded with Engine 2344 and Assistant Chiefs DiGiacomo and Ray to assist the Point Lookout–Lido Fire Department at a brush fire in the Town of Hempstead Park off Lido Boulevard. Crews operated on scene for just over an hour, supporting fire attack and containment efforts to prevent the fire from spreading further in the park area. No injuries were reported.
