Buffalo, N.Y. — October 31 —The Buffalo Niagara International Airport Fire Department announced the graduation of three recruit firefighters from the New York State Fire Academy. Firefighter Reese Tomporowski will be assigned to the 1st Platoon, Liam Sullivan to the 2nd Platoon, and Payton Connors to the 3rd Platoon.

The recruits completed state-certified training in fire suppression, rescue operations, and emergency response procedures. Their assignments place them across all shifts to support daily operations and incident response at the airport and within the department’s mutual-aid network.
