Oradell, NJ - A rapid, multi-agency response brought a structure fire under control Tuesday after flames broke out inside a detached outbuilding on Maple Avenue in Oradell.

Emergency dispatchers transmitted a Battalion 9 Box Alarm during the daytime hours of Tuesday, October 27, 2026, summoning structural firefighting resources to Maple Avenue.

Firefighters from the Oradell Fire Department arrived alongside mutual aid companies from neighboring River Edge and New Milford.

Operating crews advanced attack lines and executed a coordinated knockdown, bringing the fire under control within minutes.

Due to the aggressive attack, the blaze was completely contained to the detached shed without extending to nearby residential structures or surrounding foliage. No injuries to civilians or emergency personnel were reported.
