Lakeview, N.Y. — October 27 — The Lakeview Fire Department, based at 891 Woodfield Road, responded mutual aid to the Malverne Fire Department for a working fire on Wolf Lane. Engine 414 assisted with suppression and overhaul before being released from the scene.

As crews were wrapping up in Malverne, Lakeview units were alerted to a house fire on Orlando Avenue within their own district. Responding companies confirmed a working fire and made an interior push to contain the fire to the area of origin. Mutual-aid partners provided support and coverage while operations were underway.
