Hicksville, N.Y. — October 9 — Late last night, the Hicksville Fire Department responded to a four-alarm fire involving multiple commercial buildings near West Marie Street and North Broadway. First-arriving units found heavy fire conditions and requested additional alarms to bring in support companies for suppression and manpower rotation.

Crews operated multiple handlines and ladder pipes to contain the fire and prevent further extension along the connected structures. Mutual-aid departments from surrounding communities assisted at the scene, while additional companies provided district coverage.
