Franklin Square, N.Y. — October 23 — Chief Multari and Firefighter Taglioni from the Franklin Square & Munson Fire Department visited John Street School to meet with kindergarten students for a fire safety lesson. The program focused on the importance of having a home escape plan and understanding what to do during an emergency.

Firefighters also demonstrated their protective gear, showing students what a firefighter looks like when fully dressed for a response. The visit helped young children become more comfortable around firefighters and reinforced key safety habits that can save lives.
