Cazenovia, N.Y. — October 15 — The Cazenovia Fire Department partnered with Erieville Fire Department, Inc. and Fayetteville Fire & EMS to deliver fire prevention lessons to students at Burton Street Elementary School. The joint effort focused on teaching children about the role of firefighters, how to stay safe in emergencies, and the importance of working smoke alarms at home.

Firefighters demonstrated their turnout gear and discussed how to plan and practice home exit drills. The visit aimed to make young students more comfortable around emergency responders while reinforcing simple safety habits they can share with their families.
