Waltham, MA - On Halloween 10-31-21, a car drove into a house at 62 Howard Street in Waltham around 3:00 A.M. Initially, Engine 4, Rescue 1 and Medic 1 were dispatched. Upon arrival, Rescue 1 reported no injuries, however, the large porch was compromised. Firefighters put struts up to stabilize the roof. Deputy Randy Mullin then requested Engine 2 and 6A with the Technical Rescue trailer. Firefighters then cut 4”x4” posts to keep the roof from falling while the car was removed. Police took the driver to the police station for DUI.
