JFD Responds to Rollover Crash with Entrapment on Howland Avenue

Jamestown, RI - On 26th October, at approximately 06:56 hours, the fire alarm alerted crews to a reported rollover accident in the area of Howland Avenue and Hammett Court, with unknown injuries and possible entrapment.
Upon arrival, Jamestown Fire Department companies discovered a single-vehicle crash with the car resting on its side. Crews confirmed that one occupant was trapped inside the passenger compartment. Firefighters worked for about ten minutes to safely extricate the patient, utilizing cutting tools to remove the windshield and gain access to the interior.
During the extrication, EMS personnel provided stabilization and advanced medical care at the scene before transporting the patient to a local hospital for further treatment.
The JFD run card for the incident included: C5, R1, C2, C1, E3, and E2.
