Panama, N.Y.—October 12— The Panama Volunteer Fire Department teamed up with the Ashville Fire Department for an ISO-rated tanker shuttle drill focused on improving rural water supply operations.
The training, held in Panama, simulated a full-scale fire response in a non-hydrant area. Crews practiced drafting, tanker fills, and shuttle operations designed to maintain uninterrupted water flow to portable ponds—key elements of effective firefighting in rural communities.
