Charlton, Mass.—October 1— The Charlton Fire Department, located at 10 Power Station Road, responded to West Brookfield to assist in a search operation for a possible missing person on Wickaboag Lake. Charlton’s C-1 and Marine 1 units joined the District 7 Dive Team, which included Lt. Danna, FF Patient, and FF Edson, to support the multi-agency effort.

Firefighter Edson, also a member of Charlton’s drone unit, operated the department’s Fotokite drone to provide aerial situational awareness for Incident Command and Dive Operations. The live imagery assisted crews in monitoring dive locations, coordinating resources, and improving search coverage over the lake area.
