Brookfield, Mass.—October 13— The Brookfield Fire Department, located at 4 Central Street, opened its doors to the public for its annual open house this past Saturday. The event drew both long-time residents and first-time visitors who came to meet firefighters, tour the station, and learn about the department’s operations.

Guests had the opportunity to explore apparatus, ask questions about fire service work, and gain insight into the training and equipment that go into emergency response. The open house also served as a chance to encourage interest among potential future volunteers, offering younger visitors a firsthand look at the tools and teamwork involved in firefighting.
