Perth Amboy, NJ - The City of Perth Amboy extended heartfelt appreciation to all the parents who brought their “future firefighters” to the department’s annual open house this evening. The event offered children an exciting opportunity to interact with local firefighters, explore fire equipment, and learn about the department’s apparatus up close.

A special acknowledgment was given to Dunkin for once again providing refreshments, continuing their annual tradition of community support.

For families who haven’t yet seen the firefighters at their schools, the department announced that fire safety education visits will continue over the next three weeks. Children can look forward to receiving the department’s signature plastic fire helmets during those visits.

This community event was proudly supported by the City of Perth Amboy, Mayor Helmin Caba, the Perth Amboy Fire Officers Association, and the Perth Amboy Professional Firefighters Association.
