Neptune City Fire Department Responds to Mutual Aid Box Alarm in Belmar

September 26, 2025 — At approximately 4:20 p.m., the Neptune City Fire Department (Station 35) was dispatched on a mutual aid box alarm assignment to assist the Belmar Fire Department for a report of smoke inside a water treatment plant.


Engine 75 and Chiefs 66 and 67 responded to the scene. Upon arrival, crews assisted with investigating and addressing the source of the smoke within the facility. Firefighters operated for about one hour before being released by command.


The department commended its members for their professionalism and teamwork while assisting neighboring communities under mutual aid.
