Whiting, N.J. — October 11 — Whiting Fire Company Station 33 spent the week of October 5 promoting fire safety throughout the community as part of Fire Prevention Week. Members visited Whiting Elementary School for their annual fire prevention presentation, teaching students how to stay safe and prepared in case of emergencies.
The department also participated in the Firewise Program at Country Walk, focusing on wildfire awareness and community readiness. These outreach efforts reflect Station 33’s continued commitment to education and prevention—working hand in hand with residents to keep Whiting safe year-round.
