Stafford, N.J. — September 22 — Stafford Township Volunteer Fire Company #1 responded mutual aid to Barnegat for a working structure fire in the Pebble Beach section of town. Ladder 4735, Rescue Engine 4731, and Engine 4721 assisted Barnegat Fire Company crews with suppression and overhaul operations.

The fire, confirmed on arrival by Barnegat Chief 1100, required several hours of coordinated work by departments from Stafford, Waretown, Lacey, and supporting EMS units.
