Whiting, N.J. — October 12 — Whiting Fire Company Station 33 responded to a reported gas leak with Engine 3301, Engine 3311, and 2nd Assistant Chief 3320 on scene. Crews investigated and safely cleared the incident after confirming no further hazard.
The coordinated response demonstrated Station 33’s continued commitment to safety and professionalism. The department reminds residents to report any odor of gas immediately and to avoid using electrical switches or open flames until cleared by emergency personnel.
