Firefighters Wrap Up a Week of Safety Education Across Local Schools

Munhall, PA - All four fire stations concluded their fire prevention school visits this week, with the final stops at St. Theresa School on Thursday and Park Elementary on Friday. Firefighters spoke with students about fire prevention and safety tips, discussed the dangers of lithium-ion batteries, and emphasized the importance of smoke detectors. The crews also gave students a hands-on look at their firefighting gear, making safety education both fun and memorable.
