CORFU, N.Y., Sept. 15, 2025 — The Corfu Volunteer Fire Department welcomed Boy Scouts Pack #6067 of the Pembroke District on Monday evening for a hands-on learning opportunity.
Firefighters held an auto extrication demonstration, showing Scouts how specialized tools and techniques are used to safely remove individuals from vehicles after a crash.
The department thanked the Scouts for attending and engaging with the demonstration, noting it was a fun and educational evening for both the youth and the firefighters.
