28 August 2025 - Netcong Fire Department participated in joint training with Budd Lake Fire and Flanders Fire Co. #1 at the new homes in Mt. Olive Grove.

The training gave firefighters a firsthand look at the layout of the new buildings, helping them better prepare in the event of a fire. Members from all three agencies were divided into groups and rotated through four evolutions: Search & Rescue, Hose Advancement, Tower Operations, and Ladder Operations.

Midway through the session, Chief 1, Engine 1, and crew responded to assist Budd Lake Fire with a motor vehicle accident on Route 46.

Overall, it was a productive evening of training and teamwork, and Netcong Fire expressed appreciation for the opportunity to participate.
