Lambertville, N.J- Sept 18: On Thursday afternoon, Rescue Engine 17 was assigned to West Amwell for a reported two-vehicle incident with injuries. When Chief 26 arrived, he took leadership of the scene operations, while Rescue Engine 17 workers secured power to both vehicles to prevent electrical dangers. Firefighters then treated and stabilized two casualties. Rescue 26 helped manage the incident, and both units attempted to eliminate other dangers such as fuel spills, debris, and vehicle instability while waiting for the tow truck.
According to officials, rapid cooperation and conventional safety measures kept victims and responders safe. The circumstances of the victim's injuries and the reason of the collision are still being investigated.
